University's role in entrepreneurship

This panel discusses how universities should support entrepreneurship. It will discuss topics such as:

a) Can entrepreneurship be taught in universities? Should it be taught? Are professors equipped with the knowledge to conduct related courses?

b) What can universities do OUTSIDE of the standard courses?

c) What types of students are suitable to become entrepreneurs? What methods are effective at identifying them?

d) How can the educational system as a whole support entrepreneurship? What's succeeded with Aalto University? What needs to change in Taiwan?

e) What can the top universities provide to executives and alumni?

Specifically designed for startups, NTU-CEP's program includes practical session on marketing, management, and financial planning, as well as art, design, and innovation.

About South Star Accelerator:
Located within National Cheng Kung University, SSX's mission is to develop a thriving startup ecosystem in southern Taiwan.

SSX connects student startups with worldwide accelerators, and focuses on the areas of IoT, intelligent medicare, and Internet. SSX helps bridge students startups with the industry, and provides assistance in marketing, fund raising, financial planning, and soft landing into worldwide markets.
